We were very happy with all the arrangements made. Guides and drivers turned up promptly and made us feel very comfortable. Any requests we had were accommodated. I was a little unwell the last week and the guide helped me at the pharmacy and made alternative arrangements for me when necessary. The guides spoke good English and we had no problems with communication. We had cause to contact the Vietnamese agency and our query was dealt with politely and efficiently.

All our accomodation and breakfasts were very good. It was good to have the relaxed stays at Mai Chau and Ninh Binh. I personally found the cities a little overwhelming and the contrast between the mayhem of the old quarter outside and the peaceful interior of the Essence hotel was amazing
