All accommodation was exceptional. Superb accommodation, excellent food and very attentive service wherever we stayed.The only adverse comment we feel we should make concerns the Sofitel Plaza, Saigon. After driving back from the Mekong Delta we were all looking forward to spending some time relaxing around the roof top pool before our evening Vespa tour. Disappointingly, the pool being used for a 'private party' which, to us, was incomprehensible. Surely, as part of the service being offered by this hotel the pool should be open to all of its residents at all times. The response from the hotel management to our resulting complaint also left a lot to be desired.

Had a great balcony room in Kalaw and staff at the hotel fetched local food for breakfast (Shan noodles) at the request of our guide. Loved the Bagan King hotel and Thazin Garden.

The hotel in Battambang, La Villa Battambang, was marvellous. We especially like the eccentric manageress, she was wonderful. We were also particularly pleased with the hotel in Siem Reap because it was close enough to the the centre that we could walk in at night and eat in the Red Piano (recommended by Vicky).

We were generally pleasantly surprised with the standard of accomodation - better than we expected. None would change Sterling and on a couple of occasions when Credit Card machine didnt work we were almost a bit stuck.... The Hotel Bagan King publish pictures of all their guests on their Facebook page which is possibly a bit odd - but it was a great hotel nevertheless.

All were modern, clean. Some were very unique in location and services. All in areas you are not uncomfortable walking out the door

We felt that Almanity Hoi An was not as good as other hotels on the trip. It lacxked a certain comfort and the hard sell to use their recommended partners was unwelcome.
