We have used Inside Tours before (in 2014 for a trip to Japan) and we were as pleased with this service as that one. In Terms of UK support, all emails were answered quickly and the tour which was organised was great, almost exactly what we wanted. The tour itself, whilst busy, was well put together and we never felt rushed. All of the tour guides were helpful, knowledgable and their english was good.

I used Inside Vietnam because of a very good experience with Inside Japan but was a little disappointed. In particular the standard of English of the guides was very low although I appreciate that a party of two will not get the best guides. I also found we were overburdened with guides with not enough free time. The guide for the first half of the trip seemed more interested in having an easy time than trying to give us a good experience. Several places on the itinerary he omitted and when challenged said they were not interesting with just local people and markets. He suggested we might miss the early morning monks alms collecting in Luang Prabang and he tried to persuade us to employ him during our free time, exactly what we wanted to avoid. but the itinerary was good and the hotels better thsn we had expected.

Personalised and thought through with great attention to detail

I can honestly state this was the best organised Tour Company we have been on holiday with. Everything ran smoothly, all flights, tour guides waiting,very knowledgeable, good English. Hotels good, very good information given for our tour.

Inside Vietnam put together a perfectly tailored package to suit our needs and were very flexible when we were setting this up. The execution was excellent and flawless and everything went smoothly. We had absolutely nothing to worry about - it all just happened. Our guides were brilliant: Nhung in Hoi An was friendly and spoke very good English, fulfilling all our needs and Phouc in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City was meticulous in all his preparations and went the extra mile with additional information for us in the form of maps, information sheets, briefings and leaflets. There was no over-selling, no pressure, just a relaxed companion for all that we needed to do at both places. The accommodation that Inside Vietnam selected was right on the button. All in all, we would highly recommend Inside Vietnam and will turn to them again if we visit Indo-China or Japan in the future
