La Niche D’Angkor was lovely but the toilets next to the pool definitely need renovation and the steps to the first floor were extremely slippery when it rained. alias Villas really need to look at their menu prices and the lack of evening activities or even a bar. I believe that Hyatt should also invest to improve the knowledge of English amongst front line staff.

Amy was excellent with follow-up, provided assistance with questions and perpetual tweaking we did with itineraries, and perhaps most especially was very good at listening to my list of wants and converting them into action - hotel, tours, etc.

The road in front of the Essence Hotel is closed to vehicle traffic in the evening of Fri-Sat-Sun, so we needed to walk a couple blocks to get the ride to the airport. The party scene in front of the hotel is pretty wild -- I loved it because I had a back side bedroom so didn't hear a thing... but something to consider for some guests.
