Day 1-2
Singapore
If you want a dazzling intro to Singapore’s futuristic, fun-loving Marina Bay area, the trippy, lasers-and-lights extravaganza of the Spectra light show is the perfect place to start. From here, discover the city at its prettiest: after dark on a bumboat tour. Then, explore its cosmopolitan roots on a day tour of Chinatown, Little India and Malay-Muslim Kampong Glam (we’ll leave you to decide which has the most delicious street food!) Finally, use your free afternoon to visit the Gardens by the Bay, where eco-domes house plants from all over the world, and towering “supertrees” turn rainwater and sunlight into energy. Singapore has so much diversity to offer, there’s no time to hang around!
Highlights
See the twinkling lights of Singapore on a guided evening boat tour of the city
Get under the skin of Singapore’s Chinese, Indian and Malay districts with a local guide
Visit the iconic “supertrees” at Gardens by the Bay (guide available at an extra cost)
Day 3-4
Singapore
Singapore has gone all-in on gardens, and the vast and beautiful Botanic Gardens are where it all began. We recommend taking time to explore its greenhouses filled with delicate orchids, and wander beneath its rainforest trees as tall as 20-storey buildings. Then, when you’ve had your fill of greenery, squeeze in some retail therapy in the hipster shops of nearby Holland Village. The food here is amazing – but try to resist filling up! Tonight you’ll be heading out on a guided tour of the city’s famous hawker centres, where generations of chefs have honed their specialities to a fine art. Some have even earned Michelin stars, so bring your appetite! On day four, it's time to head home.
