I would have given excellent but we felt the recommendation of driving from prom Penh wasn't suitable. We only had 20 hours in pnomh Penh, really not long enough and then the drive to Battambang took around 7 hours. We didn't have time to visit the mountainous viewing spot on the way and had to postpone our bike tour to the next day so we had to do a short version of it. And then that knocked back our Siem Reap tour. Not that it mattered as the guide efficiently made all the changes. Would also have liked to visit the floating market on lake tonle as we passed so nearby.

Efficient, prompt, great to receive email half way through

Our hotel in Saigon was a bit too far out of the centre. The pool of the hotel in Battambang was too dirty to go in the heritage suites in Siem Reap were fantastic! Also loved tam cric in Niamh bins and Hoi An chic in Hoi An.

Our consultant, Vicky, tried hard but she seemed inexperienced and had a lack of local knowledge of both Vietnam and Cambodia. I had assumed that while in Siem Reap that our tour of the temples would have included a trip to Angkor Wat and Phohm Temple. As they were not included, our guide suggested we took a tuc tuk to the ticket kiosk and then on to the temples where we could hire a local guide at the entrance of Angkor Wat Temple. If we had wanted to travel independently we would have just booked hotels and flights. Also we had to choose between a cycle ride or boat ride on Tonie Sap Lake, it was not possibe to do both as stated in our itinerary.

Enfys planned the trip and she did an excellent job. When she went on maternity leave Charlotte took over and she has also been excellent. we have been very happy with IVT. We had a lovely holiday, one which we will never forget we had a few issues which we were not happy with but overall we really enjoyed the holiday. Were it not for the guide in Siem Reap i would give 5.

Very good contact maintained throughout our trip. The guides had good English and were mainly organised and knowledgeable. The content of the tour was interesting and well planned. The hotels were well located for our needs and of a good standard apart from. The hotel in Viang Vieng was however infested with ants and not cleaned well.

Helpful overall. Had to be chased to secure the booking in River Resort and again the change in price after alteration of days spent on Phu Quoc. Supplied a variety of ideas and listened to what we wanted for our trip and was quick to solve problems and make amends when Lao Airlines cancelled a flight from Pakse. We appreciated that.
