We particularly loved our stay on the beach at Hoi An -- it was a lovely break from the city accommodation in Hanoi and Hue. Our Hanoi hotel was perfectly located. Hue was OK -- I feel like they could have used their lovely terrace and bars in a much smarter way. They didn't seem to understand that Westerners love eating their breakfast al fresco!

Great service from InsideVietnam Tours in the UK - friendly, efficient, effective and helpful. Our experience in Indochina was very superb - the guides were of great quality (knowledgable, interesting and interested), the transfers well-organised and the individual trips were of excellent quality. Staff on the ground clearly went to extra lengths to make our experience personal and special which we very much appreciated. We felt very well looked after.

Very good contact maintained throughout our trip. The guides had good English and were mainly organised and knowledgeable. The content of the tour was interesting and well planned. The hotels were well located for our needs and of a good standard apart from. The hotel in Viang Vieng was however infested with ants and not cleaned well.

Helpful overall. Had to be chased to secure the booking in River Resort and again the change in price after alteration of days spent on Phu Quoc. Supplied a variety of ideas and listened to what we wanted for our trip and was quick to solve problems and make amends when Lao Airlines cancelled a flight from Pakse. We appreciated that.

We really liked the accommodation chosen in most locations. The accommodation on the Bassac and Bhaya cruises exceeded our expectations. Both were very comfortable and refined. We didn't like the Majestic Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The rooms - and particularly the bathrooms - felt tired. The first room we were checked into had a bad damp smell and was right beside the dining room where there was a karaoke party going on until late. We moved to another room which smelt better but still felt a bit old and tired. The pool was disappointing because it was so enclosed. The spa felt tired and not particularly luxurious.
